Residents invited to take part in Easter Egg Hunt at Scovill Zoo

DECATUR - The Children's Museum of Illinois and Scovill Zoo officials have announced they will host their annual Critter Egg Hunt on April 4.

The egg hunt will be held at Scovill Zoo, and will start at 2:00 p.m.  Pre-hunt activities will begin at 1:30 p.m.  Children in two ages groups, from ages zero through five and from ages six through ten, will search for eggs and treats around the zoo.  Eggs can be exchanged for bags of treats and other goodies after the hunt concludes.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy visits with the Easter Bunny, songs and dances, and post-hunt activities and entertainment at the Children's Museum provided by DreamVizion Productions.  There is no fee to participate in the egg hunt, and admission to the zoo and museum will be free all day.
