Mt. Zion Hires Brit Miller as Defensive Coordinator
MT. ZION -- Mt. Zion Head Football Coach Mike Popovich might have to change his motto from 'Play Fast' to 'Play Fast and Hit Hard'. Former NFL player Brit Miller has been named the team's new Defensive Coordinator and Strength Coach.
Miller spent last season as an assistant coach for his Alma mater, Eisenhower. The former Illini played fullback for the San Francisco 49ers in 2009 before spending two seasons with the St. Louis Rams from 2010 to 2012.
Mt. Zion went 6-4 last season, and lost to state champion Rochester in the first round of the playoffs.
