Macon County Hybrid Court to hold third graduation ceremony

Posted:
DECATUR - The Hybrid Court of Macon County has announced that it will hold its third graduation ceremony on March 27.

The ceremony will take place at the Macon County Courthouse, Courtroom 5A, at 1:30 p.m.  Each graduate will be given a few minutes to make a brief statement if they wish, and refreshments will be served after the graduation.  The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend this event.

Officials say the Hybrid Court program is designed to help divert non-violent "High Risk/High Needs" adult drug and DUI offenders away from the criminal justice system offering alternative comprehensive and therapeutic judicial intervention.  Participants who join the program will receive treatment services, court supervision, regular court appearances, and intensive case management services.
