3 arrested, face meth-related charges

PAWNEE - The Pawnee Police Department has announced that three individuals were arrested on methamphetamine-related charges during the execution of a search warrant on March 26.

Authorities say during the early morning hours of Thursday, Pawnee police officers and the Sangamon County Sheriff's D.I.R.T. Unit executed a search warrant on a home in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street.  Police say an earlier investigation by a Pawnee police officer led to probable cause for the search warrant.

Police say during the search of the home, eight grams of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, suspected drug paraphernalia, and $800 in cash were found.  Police also say Robert Stahl, Heidi Stahl, and Vonda Dougherty were arrested at the home.

Pawnee police say all three face a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine, and that Robert Stahl faces an additional charge of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.  Authorities say the investigation into these charges is ongoing.
