Traveling Lincoln exhibit making stop at Illinois Valley Community College

Posted:
OGLESBY - Illinois Valley Community College will host a traveling exhibit about President Abraham Lincoln in April.

IVCC officials say the "Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War" exhibit will make a stop at the college from April 9 until May 1.  Five panels that highlight the major issues that Lincoln dealt with during his presidency will be featured.  The exhibit will also be free and open to the public during the college's regular hours.

According to Amanda Cook-Fesperman, IVCC professor and a co-director of the traveling exhibit, some of the issues that former presidents faced mirror issues that we face today.
