Commemorations for Lincoln's funeral procession to be held across nation
SPRINGFIELD - National Park Service officials say they are planning to mark the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's funeral procession.
Commemorations will be held along the route that the procession took, from Washington D.C. to Springfield, Illinois, starting on April 18. Cities participating include Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, and New York City.
Programs along the procession's route will feature Lincoln actor Fritz Klein. The commemorations will conclude on May 3.
