DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation District is inviting central Illinois residents to attend their "Birds Are Back: Migration" event on April 12.

This special event begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Rock Springs Nature Center.  Participants will learn and identify birds that migrate through Macon County on the way to their summer habitats.  Those in attendance will also have the chance to participate in a birdwatching hike.

This event is free and open to the public, but you must pre-register by April 10.  For more information, or to register, visit www.maconcountyconservation.org.
