MacArthur students begin classes in new building

DECATUR - After months of renovations, MacArthur High School students have finally moved into their new building.

According to MacArthur Principal Paul Ranstead, students are finalizing the moving process, and that the last remaining items to be placed in the new building are set to be delivered this week.

MacArthur High School Senior Sylvia Wilson also commented on being excited to be in the new building, saying, "It's more modern, we're like the cooler schools now. We've got a new gym, new hallways. It's beautiful."

Faculty and staff also helped students get familiar with the school's new layout with a scavenger hunt on their first day back.
