Multiple people injured in Harristown crash

HARRISTOWN - Macon County authorities say multiple people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Harristown Monday night.

At about 8:42 p.m., Macon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries at the intersection of West Main Street and Briarwood Lane in Harristown.  Upon arriving, deputies say they found that three vehicles were involved in the incident, and that the driver of one of the vehicles suffered what appeared to be life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say there were a total of four occupants in the three vehicles, and that it's believed that all of the occupants were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.  This incident is under investigation by the Macon County Sheriff's Office.
