Northern Illinois man pleads guilty to murder charge

DIXON - A northern Illinois man charged with multiple counts of first-degree murder has pleaded guilty to killing a woman at the Willow Creek rest stop in July 2014.

Authorities say Terrence Doddy, 37, entered a guilty plea on Wednesday in the death of Tonya Bargman, 44.  Police say Bargman was strangled as she left a restroom at the rest stop, located on Interstate 39 near Paw Paw.  Doddy was arrested three days later near Beloit, Wisconsin.

Doddy also faces murder charges in the death of Todd Hansmeier, 37.  Authorities say Doddy is expected to enter a plea in that case on Monday.
