CHAMPAIGN--Eight people will be getting a haircut that could change the life of a child with cancer.
The group will be getting buzz-cuts at the annual St. Baldrick's Head Shave in Champaign Friday evening to raise money for children's cancer research.
Fourteen-year-old Sebastian Major, a Champaign teenager battling Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, is inspiring all those involved.
His mother even made a personal pledge if the team of participants--which is named after her son--meets it's $5000 fundraising goal.
"We've collected around $2500 as of [Friday afternoon]. Our goal is $5000," said Dana Major. "And if we reach that, I will shave my head. If we don't reach that I'm not going to do it, but I won't back out if we reach that $5000."
