URBANA - Champaign County authorities say two people were arrested during the execution of a search warrant on an Urbana home Thursday morning.

The Champaign County Sheriff's Office says members of the Champaign County Metro SWAT Team executed a search warrant on a home in the 400 block of South Dodson Street in Urbana at about 10:46 a.m.  Authorities say members of the Champaign County Sheriff's Office, Urbana Police Department, and FBI aided in the search of the home, during which officers say a loaded 380 cal. firearm was found.

Police say two people, identified as Linnez Blount, 19, and Martin Davis, 20, were arrested at the home.  The Champaign County Sheriff's Office says Blount is facing a preliminary charge of unlawful possession of a firearm, and Davis is facing a charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.  Police also say Davis was wanted on two Sangamon County arrest warrants for retail theft and possession of a controlled substance.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
