Decatur Township is planning to host its second annual Stroke Awareness Health Fair/Luncheon on Friday May 22 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Main Street Church of the Living God, located at 2000 N. Main Street.
Stroke kills almost 130,000 Americans each year.
According to the American Heart Association, “FAST” is an easy way to recognize the warning signs of a stroke. F: Face drooping, A: Arm weakness, S: Speech difficulty, and T: Time to call 911 (http://bitly.com/11CWzBy)
Dr. Dana Ray from Chic Clinic will be the speaker at the luncheon and will talk about more stroke prevention and symptoms.
