Champaign officials, CommUnity Matters partners hosting community resource fair

CHAMPAIGN - Champaign officials say they are teaming up with CommUnity Matters partners to host an annual community resource fair on May 18.

The fair will be held at the Garden Hills Elementary School Gymnasium from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Officials say this year's event will be a combination of a wellness resource fair and a family festival, and that this fair is free and open to the public.

Participants will be able to enjoy outdoor entertainment, safety demonstrations, crafts, games, inflatables, face painting, and free food and drink.  Additionally, officials say more than two dozen vendors are expected to participate in the fair, and that many local service agencies will be in attendance.
