DECATUR - More than 150 ADM interns are joining Macon County Conservation District and Living Lands and Waters volunteers in an effort to remove invasive species from the Sangamon River bank and other areas at Rock Springs Conservation Area.

The event, coordinated by Living Lands and Waters officials, began at 9:30 a.m., and is a part of a kickoff volunteer event to start the summer.  Volunteers are aiming to remove invasive plant species, such as bush honeysuckle, from the area.
