SPRINGFIELD - Sangamon County officials are reminding residents of the 18th Congressional District that voting will begin on May 28 for the July 7 special primary election to replace former Congressman Aaron Schock.

According to Sangamon County Clerk Don Gray, registered voters may begin voting on Wednesday either by mail or in person at the Sangamon County Election Office.  Individuals who wish to submit a ballot by mail are encouraged to visit www.sangamoncountyclerk.com to submit a ballot application electronically.

8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
