QUINCY - Western Illinois authorities say a Quincy woman who has been convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol nine times has been sentenced to nine years in prison.

Officials say Konnie McCord, 61, received the nine-year prison sentence under a plea deal.  McCord was arrested for DUI in April 2015.  She had previously been sentenced to four years behind bars for a DUI conviction in Brown County in 2005.

In total, McCord has been convicted of DUI in Illinois seven times, and in Texas twice.  She faced a 30-year prison sentence prior to the plea deal.
