DECATUR - Girl Scouts of Central Illinois has received a $50,000 donation from Archer Daniels Midland Company.

Officials say the money will go towards two programs, STEM and Girl Scouting in the School Day, which focus on enriching girls' lives throughout central Illinois.  According to Girl Scouts of Central Illinois CEO Pam Kovacevich, the $50,000 donation will allow the organization to serve more girls in our area.

The donation was awarded through the ADM Cares program.  ADM Cares invests funds in initiatives and organizations that help social, economic, and environmental progress worldwide.
