3 families to graduate Salvation Army Pathway of Hope program

DECATUR - Salvation Army officials say they will host a graduation celebration on June 12 for three families who have completed the Pathway of Hope Program.

Officials say the celebration will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Decatur.  Salvation Army Captain Wes Dalberg says that officials are "very proud of the success and hard work" that the families have accomplished.

The Pathway of Hope program was put into place in response to a challenge from the Salvation Army National Office to double the impact the organization has on emergency social service assistance.  The program aims to enable individuals who are looking for help with fulfilling basic needs become more stable and sufficient.
