Alzheimer Association hosting educational program

CLINTON - The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter will host an educational program designed to help participants develop a plan for healthy aging on June 17.

Officials say the program, titled "Healthy Habits for a Healthier You," will be held at 11:45 a.m. at 400 East Main Street in Clinton.  Participants will discover how to optimize their physical and cognitive health by learning how diet and nutrition, exercise, and cognitive activity and social engagement play a role in healthy aging.

Following the program, Alzheimer's Association Manager of Education and Outreach Sara McGady will present and take questions that participants may have.  This event is free and open to the public.
