Arrest Made in Champaign Shooting Incident

CHAMPAIGN – In an update to an article WAND brought you on Tuesday, June 9, a Champaign man has been arrested in connection with the shooting that occurred on Monday, June 8 in the 900 block of North Fourth Street.

Champaign Police Detectives report they have arrested 20-year-old Phillip J. Cobb of Champaign, Illinois. He was arrested for the offense of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident, as well as the other shooting that occurred in the 1000 Block of West Bradley Avenue.
