Finders Market Promotes Local Artists

Posted: Updated:
DECATUR – The Finders Market is selecting local artists to receive a complimentary space at their upcoming markets.

This market features vintage products, antiques, handmade items, furniture and home décor, patio and garden, art, fashion and foods sold by exhibitors and vendors from around the Midwest.

Market Organizer Joy Snow announces the market will be offering a free space at each show weekend. The space will go to a selected group, organization of artists, antiquer or handcrafter as a means to support small business and community organizations.

“Our goal at Finders Market is to create a fun and engaging market and to showcase the talents of great antiquers, handcrafters and artisans from all over the Midwest; and that starts in our own community,” Snow explains.

This next market's recipient of the free space is Heroic Age Art Center in Mt. Zion.

The market's next dates are June 26 – 27 at Progress City USA next to Richland Community College located at 1 College Park in Decatur. Friday hours are 3 – 7 PM with an admission fee of $5.

Saturday's market from 9 AM to 3 PM is free to the public.
