Local Flavors Farm-to-Table Series enters 8th season

Posted: Updated:
CENTRAL ILLINOIS - The Illinois Stewardship Alliance, Urbana's Market at the Square, and other local businesses are teaming up to present the eighth season of the Local Flavors Farm-to-Table Series.

Officials say this series will give consumers a chance to dine at their favorite restaurants while supporting local businesses, locally grown products, and sustainable farming.  Chefs at participating restaurants highlight locally sourced produce and meats with one or more special dishes.

This Farm-to-Table Series will be held from June until October in several central Illinois cities.  We've included a list of dates and locations in Champaign-Urbana that will host this series below:

June 18:  Dinner at Hudson Farms (hosted by Piato)
July 2: Dinner at Milo's Restaurant
July 16: Dinner at Hendrick House
August 6: Dinner at Escobar's Restaurant
August 20: Dinner at Big Grove Tavern
September 3:  Dinner at Destihl Restaurant and Brew Works
September 17: Lunch at Common Ground Food Co-op
