SPRINGFIELD - Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum officials are inviting central Illinois residents to explore Springfield in a new way during the "Abe and Mary: Quite Contrary" walking tour.

In this new tour, participants will explore Illinois' capital city while learning more about the relationship between Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd.  The tour will be offered every Tuesday this summer, starting at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The tour is scheduled to take about an hour, and covers one-and-a-half miles.  Participants are advised to wear shoes, bring water, and dress appropriately for the weather.
