DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department says one man was arrested Thursday morning on multiple charges, including methamphetamine production and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Decatur police say they executed a search warrant on a home in the 1900 block of North Water Street at about 10:40 a.m.  Officers say they found three people inside of the home, along with alleged meth manufacturing materials and substances that allegedly tested field positive for methamphetamine.  Decatur police say the three individuals were then taken to the Decatur Police Department to be interviewed.

Authorities say one of the individuals who had been taken in for questioning was identified as Christian Berger, 32.  According to sworn statements given by Decatur police, Berger allegedly told detectives about a sexual relationship he had with another individual who was brought in for questioning, who police say is a 16-year-old female.  Decatur police also say detectives allegedly found a sexually explicit video on Berger's phone that featured the female.

Decatur police say Berger was arrested on preliminary charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, aggravated meth manufacturing, possession of meth manufacturing materials, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and production of child pornography.  Berger remains in custody at the Macon County Jail on $250,000 bond.
