"Let's Keep Decatur Bee-utiful" announces contest winners

DECATUR - "Let's Keep Decatur Bee-utiful" has announced the winners for its annual contest that looks at businesses with the most pleasing curb appeal throughout the month of May.

Officials say eleven judges visited all 96 Decatur-area businesses that registered for this contest to make their decision.  Businesses who participated maintained landscaping, secured dumpsters, and kept litter from their perimeter throughout this contest in an effort to beautify their property.

All first-place winners will receive a certificate, a $350 gift card to "From the Ground Up Landscapes," and a custom made trophy.  Second-place winners will receive a $200 gift card to Connie's Country Greenhouse, and third place will receive a $100 gift card from Cedar Lake Gardens and Gifts.  Additionally, the winners of the Speed Lube Continued Excellence Award and Best of Show Award will receive a $350 gift card and a custom-made trophy.
