SPRINGFIELD - Memorial Medical Center officials are inviting central Illinois residents to learn more about how to handle sports-related knee injuries during its "Advances in Management of Sports Knee Injuries" program on July 15.

Officials say the one-hour program will feature Orthopedic Center of Illinois Physician Dr. Rodney Herrin.  Herrin will discuss treatment options for ligament and cartilage injuries of the knee, partial knee replacement, knee realignment procedures, and non-operative and rehabilitative treatment of knee problems.

This program will be held at 6:00 p.m. at 228 West Miller Street.  Attendance is free and open to the public.  To register, visit https://www.memorialmedical.com/ or call (217) 788-3333.
