OREANA - The Macon County Coroner has identified two motorcyclists who died in a crash in Oreana on Saturday.

Authorities say emergency crews were dispatched to the 5200 block of North Route 48 at about 11:39 p.m. for a report of a crash.  Upon arriving, crews say they found that 2 motorcycles had crashed, and a van was in a ditch.

Macon County Coroner Michael Day says one of the motorcyclists, identified as Bradly Petrick, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.  The other motorcyclist, identified as Richard Jones, 28, was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.  The driver of the van was treated and released from a local hospital.

Day says autopsies were performed on Jones and Petrick on June 22.  However, Day also says he will not make a determination into the exact cause of death until other tests are completed.

The Macon County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate this incident.  We will provide more details as they become available.
