MCCD hosting "Into the Wild" Keeping Your Cool" program

DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation District is inviting central Illinois residents to discover how wild animals survive extreme temperatures during "Into the Wild: Keeping Your Cool" on July 11.

This program will be held at the Rock Springs Nature Center from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  Participants will hike to various natural habitats while they learn how central Illinois animals survive extreme heat and cold.  Door prizes will also be awarded.

This program is free and open to the public, but you must register online by July 10.  For more information, or to register, visit www.maconcountyconservation.org.
