DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department has announced that another arrest has been made in connection to the shootings that took place over Father's Day weekend.

Authorities say Decatur police officers and a Macon County Probation officer arrested an individual after a short foot chase on the city's east side Thursday night.  Decatur police say the individual was allegedly in possession of a .22 caliber revolver and a small amount of marijuana.

Authorities say the individual is facing preliminary charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of marijuana, and resisting a police officer.  Decatur police also say this individual is a juvenile, and therefore will not release his name.

So far, five arrests have been made in connection with the shootings that happened during Father's Day weekend.  We will provide more details as they become available.
