The Biggest Loser seeking contestants for 17th season

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA. - Casting producers for "The Biggest Loser" are looking for new contestants for the show's 17th season.

Officials say producers are looking for teams of two people who wish to lose 80 pounds or more for this season.  Outgoing and charismatic individuals who have the drive to compete for the $250,000 grand prize are encouraged to attend one of several casting calls throughout the country.  We've included information below on two casting calls being held near central Illinois this month:

July 11
St. Louis, Missouri
River City Casino & Hotel
10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

July 25
Chicago, Illinois
The Biggest Loser Resort - Chicago
10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Individuals who wish to attend must be at least 18 years old, and should bring a non-returnable photo of themselves and their teammates.  If you are unable to attend either of these casting calls, you can visit www.nbc.com/casting or www.thebiggestlosercasting.com for more information on how to apply to be a contestant on this show.
