DECATUR - Decatur officials say motorists should expect delays on a portion of South 22nd Street beginning on July 8, as crews will be working to replace a concrete cap with asphalt.

Officials say the project will result in the closure of the left southbound and left turn lanes at Wood Street of the 100 block of South 22nd Street.  The closure is expected to last from 7:30 a.m. on July 8 until 4:00 p.m. on July 10, weather permitting.

Motorists in this area are asked to slow down and use caution through the work zone.  For more information about this project, call (217) 875-4820.
