Gregory Drive Closes Between First and Fourth Streets

Posted: Updated:

CHAMPAIGN – Transportation Demand Management Coordinator Stacey DeLorenzo announces Gregory Drive between First Street and Fourth Street will be closed from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10.

This closure is as a result of crack routing and sealing of joints on Gregory Drive. The west bound lane of Gregory Drive will be closed starting at Fourth Street and continuing until First Street. Motorists should expect delays in the work area, proceed with caution and seek alternate routes around the area.

Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected by this closure but should exercise caution when walking through the area.

Other intersecting streets that will be affected include: Gregory and Second, Gregory and Arbor, Gregory and Third and Gregory and Euclid.

The closed lane is scheduled to be reopened on July 10 at 3:30 PM.
