Dot Foods and Dot Transportation Announce Hiring Events

WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS – Dot Foods and Dot Transportation say the company is looking to hire 130 people for new positions at their Mt. Sterling headquarters.

Recruiters are heading to Morgan, Cass and Pike counties in July. The businesses report the highest sale volume in company history and require more workforce to manage the record volume and keep service quality high. Dot Foods Inc. carries 109,000 products from 650 food industry manufacturers, and Dot Transportation, Inc. distributes products to distributors in all 50 states and 25 countries.

Hiring events will consist of recruiters meeting with candidates, answering questions about career opportunities available and conducting interviews. Positions available include: warehouse workers, drivers and office positions. The company is offering positions for a variety of schedules.

Recruiting events will take place in Jacksonville, Beardstown and Pittsfield.

Jacksonville’s event will take place on Thursday, July 9 from 4 to 7 PM. The event will be held at the Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center at Illinois College at 1110 West College Avenue.

Beardstown’s event will take place on Thursday, July 16 from 4 to 7 PM. This event will be held at Lincoln Land Community College at 109 White Pine Lane.

Pittsfield’s event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 30 from 4 to 7 PM. Location details have yet to be released. Updates can be found at www.dotfoods.com/news/.
