Actress Creates PSA for Jacksonville Bark for Your Park

JACKSONVILLE – Hollywood actress and Jacksonville native Emily Berry has made a video in support of Jacksonville’s Bark for Your Park in PetSafe’s online contest.

The video appears on PetSafe’s YouTube channel and shows Berry explaining the positive effects of dog parks. Berry lives in Van Nuys, California and filmed the public service announcement beneath the foothills displaying the Hollywood sign. Two rescue dogs owned by friends of Berry are featured in the video.

Berry emphasizes the importance of dog parks for the animals but their owners as well.

“A lot of my friends live in apartments and don’t have a place to play with their dogs,” Berry explains.

Berry’s friends often visit dog parks to give their pets needed exercise and socialization.

The Jacksonville born actress has appeared in Geico and United Healthcare commercials, Grey’s Anatomy and other web and theatre projects. She continues to donate and support to the Protecting Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) shelter in Jacksonville despite moving across the country.
