Vermilion County Clerk issues new voter registration cards to residents outside of Danville

Posted: Updated:

VERMILION COUNTY - Vermilion County Clerk Cathy Jenkins has announced that voters outside of Danville's city limits have been mailed new voter identification cards.

Jenkins says the new cards reflect an attempt to streamline the voting process to help save taxpayer money.  Some voters will notice that their new cards will have the polling place highlighted, indicating that their polling place has been relocated.

Jenkins adds that if the new polling location is too inconvenient, you may also vote by mail or early vote.  Voters can request a ballot to be mailed to their homes by visiting www.vercounty.org.  If you have any questions about these changes, call (217) 554-1911.
