Macon Resource Clients Sell Produce from Resource Farm

DECATUR – Macon Resources’ clients will be selling vegetables, flowers and other produce grown at the Resource Farm on Thursday, July 23.

Resource Farm is a project of Macon Resources, which provides job training opportunities to adults with disabilities. Proceeds from the farm support MRI services promoting the growth, independence and self-worth of children and adults with disabilities. The organization says more than ten adults have received job training through Resource Farm.

Resource Farm also supplied produce to five local restaurants in the last year.

This farmers market is open from 11 AM – 1 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in front of Macon Resources located at 2121 Hubbard Avenue in Decatur. Clients will sell produce whenever it is available.
