Several blood drives hosted in Decatur during August

DECATUR - The Central Illinois Community Blood Center is hosting several blood drives throughout Decatur during the month of August.

CICBC officials say blood drives will be held at the following locations:

August 10
333 South Franklin Street
6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

August 12
2300 North Edward Street
10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
For appointment call (217) 241-7550

August 15
1155 South Route 51
1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
For appointment call (217) 241-7550

In an effort to combat seasonal declines in blood donations, anyone who donates blood at CICBC events through September 5 will be entered to win a 2015 Jeep Patriot SUV.  For more details on this drawing, or for more information about the Central Illinois Community Blood Center, visit http://www.bloodcenter.org/home.aspx.
