UPDATE: The search continues for a man wanted by Christian County authorities.

Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp says the Sheriff's Office received more information regarding the whereabouts of Donald Ray Van Hoose III, 24, from a resident after viewing a news report.  The resident told authorities that an individual that may have matched the description of Van Hoose arrived at their house, located approximately one mile from where the vehicle was found, during the evening hours of August 3.  The resident also says the individual reported that his car had broken down, and his cell phone was not working.  Kettelkamp says the resident reported giving the individual a ride to a Walmart in Taylorville, where he was later picked up by another person.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office says authorities do not believe that Van Hoose is in the Christian County area any longer.  Any citizens who do see him are asked to call their local law enforcement agency immediately.
