Macon County Conservation District hosting archery event

DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation District is inviting citizens ages 10 and up to try their hand in 3D Animal Archery on August 15.

This event will be held at the Rock Springs Conservation Area from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Participants will be able to rotate through life-sized animal targets such as turkey, deer, bears, and more.  Additionally, new and less experienced archers will be taught the basics of archery during this event.

The fee to participate is $7 per person, and you must pre-register online by August 14.  For more information, or to register, visit www.maconcountyconservation.org.
