Illinois Chamber of Commerce Board Elects New Member
SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announces it has voted in a Peoria businessman to its board.
Brent Eichelberger was elected during the board’s annual meeting in Chicago on July 14. Eichelberger is the Regional President of Commerce Bank in Central Illinois. These branches operate in Peoria, Bloomington-Normal and Champaign-Urbana areas.
Illinois Chamber President and CEO Todd Maisch believes Eichelburger’s 28 years of banking experience will be helpful to the board.
“Combined with his active business and community involvement in the Peoria and Bloomington-Normal areas, Brent will be an asset to the Chamber and to the Illinois business sector as a whole,” Maisch says.
Chairman Matt Gambs adds the involvement of Commerce Bank and its community focus will hopefully encourage bank leaders to be more involved in the communities.
