RCC offering medical coding workshop

DECATUR - Richland Community College's Continuing and Professional Education Division is partnering with the college's Health Information Technology program to offer a medical coding workshop on September 11 and 12.

Officials say the event will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on both days.  This diagnostic and procedural medical coding system will be mandated by the Federal government, and participants in this workshop will earn 10 CEUs through AHIMA upon successful completion.

The cost of the workshop is $150, and will include lunch and a snack.  For more information about this workshop, or to register, call (217) 875-7211, ext. 265.
