Macon County History Museum hosting presentations on weapons and armor

DECATUR - The Macon County History Museum is inviting central Illinois residents to attend a presentation on weapons and armor used from medieval times through the American Civil War.

The presentation will be held at 1:30 p.m. on August 29 at 5580 North Fork Road.  Visitors will be able to learn more about these interesting items from guest speaker and former University of Notre Dame Fencing Team Armorer Scott Rueter.  Additionally, Rueter will show examples of arms and armor from his own collection.
