Champaign police investigate theft

CHAMPAIGN - The Champaign Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two individuals who allegedly stole luggage from a bus on August 18.

Champaign police say the incident happened at about 9:00 p.m. at the Illinois Terminal.  According to the initial report, a woman told police that her luggage had been stolen from the Peoria Charter bus she was riding while it was stopped at the Illinois Terminal.  Multiple items were taken from the luggage, including a camera and jewelry.

The suspects in this incident were captured on surveillance video, and we've included still images of the video featuring the suspects in this article.  If you have any information about this incident, or can identify the individuals shown in the images, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at (217) 373-8477.
