Champaign police investigate shooting incident

CHAMPAIGN - The Champaign Police Department is seeking the public's help in its investigation into a shooting incident on September 6 that left 2 people injured.

Champaign police say officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Hedge Road at about 10:20 p.m. for a report of shots fired in the area.  Upon arriving, officers say they were informed that two men had been taken to the hospital.  The men, ages 24 and 29, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
