Salvation Army to Offer Disaster Training


DECATUR--- The Salvation Army in Decatur is offering a National Disaster Training Program for anyone interested in becoming a Salvation Army Disaster volunteer.  It's happening this Saturday, September 12th.  The training starts at 9 am.

 The Salvation Army relies on trained disaster workers to coordinate emergency relief operations and deliver fast, efficient service to disaster survivors,” said Major Wes Dalberg, Corps Officer of the Decatur Corps.  The Salvation Army’s national disaster training program includes courses developed by The Salvation Army and training certified by other partner organizations whose technical expertise is nationally recognized in a given field.
