MCCD hosting mini camp focused on white-tailed deer

DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation District is inviting children ages one through five, along with their parents or guardians, to attend a deer-focused mini camp on September 22 and 23.

The camp will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on September 22 for children ages three through five, and on September 23 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. for children ages one through five.  During this program, attendees will learn more about the white-tailed deer through songs, crafts, stories, and activities.

The fee to attend is $10 per child, and you must register online before September 21.  For more information, or to register, visit www.maconcountyconservation.org.
