URBANA – Officials for the continuing care retirement community Clark-Lindsey announce they will be breaking ground for their new Wellness Center on Wednesday, October 7 at 11 AM.
The center’s facilities will include: an indoor pool, a fitness center and an expanded therapy gym. Officials say they have chosen to expand on aqua fitness exercise options due to the added health benefits and versatility of this method.
Clark-Lindsey officials say water is adaptable and can be adjusted to meet individual abilities. Water also provides resistance, and it can also support the body, reducing risk of injury from muscle pulls, strains and sprains.
The new Wellness Center is expected to be open by the end of 2016.
