LaHood Continues to Establish Staff

Posted: Updated:

PEORIA – Congressman Darin LaHood announces he continues to make decisions in establishing his staff since being sworn in on September 17.

LaHood won the September 10 special election and has steadily been hiring staff members from various locations. Candidates have been interviewed in both Washington D.C. and across the 18th Congressional District in Peoria, Jacksonville and Springfield.

Representative LaHood says his main goal is to pick up existing work and provide the help needed to those in the district since the 18th District was without representation for around six months.

“As I continue to settle in after the election, establishing staff in both Washington D.C. and the 18th District has been a high priority to assure constituent service is provided as we quickly transition,” LaHood says.

Congressman LaHood has hired Steven Pfrang as his Chief of Staff in Washington D.C. Brad Stotler will serve as District Director for the Peoria District office. J.D. Dalfonso will serve as Press Secretary for the Peoria office. Both Stotler and Dalfonso grew up and reside in Peoria currently, while Pfrang is from the Midwest as well.

Interviews are currently being conducted for various case work positions in the Peoria, Springfield and Jacksonville offices.
