Look At Me

Broadcast your life, it's what social media is all about. Documenting one’s life isn’t new. Cavemen painted their lives on walls, the first [debatable] selfie was taken in 1939 by Robert Cornelius outside his family’s store in Philadelphia and Japanese astronaut Aki Hoshide took a selfie from outer space. In the past, self-portrait paintings have been seen as a sign of stature in society, with symbols added to tell more about the person.  Today, the selfie is mainstream, and most people with a cell phone have taken one.

In a special report, Dawn Sterling will show you how people use social media, the competition some get in to with one another and what parents need to think about when teaching their children the basics social rules of life.
